BOER LIBERATION MOVEMENT

The Boere-Vryheidsbeweging (Boer Liberation Movement) strives and works for the creation of a Boer homeland and nation state - a new Christian Boer Republic with a republican constitution, own national symbols, one national language (Afrikaans) and a name of its own which includes or is derived from the name Boer.

Ethnic Power Struggle

South Africa is destined for a power struggle, not one of party political nature, but an ethnic power struggle because the true power poles are ethnic groups or nations like the Zulus, Xhosas, Tswana, Venda and the Boers. The country has already had a foretaste of the severity of the power clash in the barbarous and bloody murders and "necklaces" which have wracked the country and left havoc and destruction in its wake.

Tying nations together in a unitary state, as the government envisages, is a certain formula for a senseless, painful and destructive power struggle and inevitable civil war. The Bible, and history and experience provide evidence that unitary states of this kind are not meant to and cannot work and that the only way in which tensions can be defused is by granting each nation its self-determination and by allocating own territories to the different nations, the so-called vertical apartheid.

The Boer Nation

The Boer nation (Boerevolk) is one of the poles of power, one of the nations who will not accept foreign rule and dominance. The Boer nation (Voortrekker Nation or Nation of the Covenant) is the only white nation, which God created on the African continent.

It is descended mainly from Dutch, French and German stock; was not converted to Christianity but was born as a Christian nation, rooted in there foundation and basedon the Calvinistic Protestant faith, the main principles of this faith being: recognition of the sovereignty of God over all creation, the Kingship of Jesus Christ and the absolute authority of the Bible as infallible light and guide.

The Boer nation is also bound to God by covenants of which the Covenant of Bloodriver (1838) is the most outstanding, binding and enduring. The political destiny of the Boer nation is a Christian republican nation state in which it can fulfil its calling, namely to serve and worship God in freedom.

The Boers also include in their ranks those whites who want to become assimilated with them. This nation created its own Boer republics during the 19th century but these were rob and wrested from him in an unjust war (Anglo-Boer War 1899 - 1902) in which more than 26 000 women and children were killed in a holocaust which the world and particularly the English seemed to have forgotten.

-'The Boer nation is characterised by its extremely strong sense of freedom undertook a Great Trek in quest of freedom and fought two Freedom Wars (1880 - 81; 1899 - 1902) against the mightiest empire of the time, the British Empire. It may and will not accept foreign domination and will not renounce its rightful quest for freedom until it is victorious.

Boer Nation State

With this in mind the Boers have made a distinct and important shift from the racial to the national basis. We aren't campaigning for the white man anymore, but our struggle is for the freedom for our nation. National freedom is only attainable in a nation state, separate or seceded from the present RSA. With a nation state is meant: One nation in its own exclusive national territory under its own national government. The Boer concept of a nation state also includes the principle of one national language; one religion (Calvinistic Protestant Reformed); one national educational system and self-reliance as far as labour is concerned.

The envisaged Christian republican Boer nation state is the formula for freedom, the prime move and ultimate objective of our struggle.

Creation of a Boer Nation State

This nation state does not exist but has to be created. The constitutional way of establishing it would be to follow the tried and trusted tradition, which led to the creation of nation states in Southern Africa such as Ciskei, Transkei, Venda and Bophuthatswana.

The first important step is the demarcation of the Boer national territory which is to be its national homeland. An exclusive national territory is an absolute prerequisite for national freedom. It serves as a power base, offers security, will give the Boer the opportunity to concentrate power and it will evoke the will to resist and stand fast.

Scientific Research

For the purpose of demarcating a Boer national territory, the Boere-Vryheidsbeweging appointed a working team of authorities in different relevant fields to conduct a scientific research and to come forward with a proposal for a Boer national territory. lts first step was to 'Petcrmiiie and validate a series of criteria ranging from the demographic to the historical. Different proposed territories were subjected to scrutiny and evaluation and a scientifically valid Boer national territory is on the cards. It comprises approximately 20% of the Republic of South Africa and has a distinct historical basis and distinct historical character. The Boere-Vryheidsbeweging has through this research taken the lead in this field.

Strategy

Simultaneously with the announcement of the Boer national territory, a strategy and program for the application and exercise of control over the territory must be brought to bear on it aimed at the generation of power in various forms e.g. the provision of work opportunities, housing, medical services, security services. It can be foreseen that the announcement of the Boer national homeland will lead to a trek to it and the settlement A national education system must be developed. All this is under way.

Futher more a national economic system will be implemented which will ensure employment for Boers and will make foreign labour superfluous. Foreigners will not be bulldozed out of the country but natural powers and methods of phasing out foreign labour will be used. The ideal is a country wholly occupied by its own citizens.

The Example of Israel

The striving and struggle for a Boer nation state is a legitimate cause of a nation to obtain self-determination and independence. The Boer nation has embarked on the same course and adventure as the Israelis who propagated their ideal of a homeland, settled there over the course of more than half a century and eventually in 1948, when circumstances were favourable, created and proclaimed a nation state.

New Great Trek

The Boer nation is undertaking a new Great Trek aimed at the founding of a Christian republican Boer nation state on African soil. If it is God's will, it shall be established. Its primary calling will be to act as a custodian for the heritage of the Reformation and to serve God in freedom.
